This is a Smash of an Update of all things going on in life right now.

Espresso machine - with my Christmas money I bought an Espresso Machine, check out my 1st attempt at coffee art:

Poker Night - Monday night Nick invited some guys over for Poker. 2 girls tagged along too, not to play just to fawn over one of the guys I think. One of them was Canadian though, from near NewMarket Ontario! I made her a Tim Horton's Hot chocolate with steamed milk from my espresso machine and put it in a Tim Horton's Christmas cup that my mo had collected for me! Joe drove in from Co Spgs, in an awful white out that 3 days later there is no sign of. Nick won! The game went quick, everyone left except Joe so we taught him Nicks new game; Lord's of Waterdeep. This time Joe won by half a point!!!

Monday a whole bunch of drama started at work when a specific person went into a monthly meeting with a list written to cause a fuss. Fuss she did and of course it was all pointed at how in-adequate I am at doing my work (which as I'm typing this at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon...). Anyways... everyone that are my superiors all know that she is full of it, and all supported me 100%. I kept my reaction minimal because that is what she was looking for. Multiple people came up to me afterwards to declare their devotion to my "side" or to ask my I never stand up for myself when she attacks me. We even had a 2nd meeting about it with our shared boss, and my actual boss....I'd say I came out on top, but we actually are making some changes that appear to her like we're giving in, but not really.....Glad that's over with now!

This past weekend at church I was asked to: photograph a wedding, be on the Spring Gala Committee at DenSem, do Senior pics for Noah this summer, and lead devotions at choir on the 12th. I've come up with a great plan for the devotions and if it turns out as wonderful as I hope it does, it'll be a blog post for y'all to read later! I was also nominated to purchase the cake, and a veggie trays as well as make a banner for the 1st night of Choir (last night)!

I have also been working on re-doing the bulletin boards in the choir room with a goal of having them done by last night! - Challenge completed!

On top of choir starting back up this week, Nick started his 2nd last semester of his Master's on Monday, taking Hebrew, Greek, Homiletic (preaching), and Pastoral Counseling. We both attended the New Student Orientation this past Friday as best we could (he had class and I had to work, but we were both able to be in our respective roles for a little over an hour each).

Next weekend is the Winter Brunch that I will be putting together! I'm already been working on the centerpieces and I hope tonight since we'll be snowed in I can get them finished so that next week I can focus on cleaning for our guest and shopping for all the food for the brunch (you know on top of my regular coffee bar shopping and just personal groceries as well)!

It's been a busy crazy week, and I know it will only get busier next week, but since a lot of my prep is done it shouldn't be so bad!
