The final huge stretch off our trip is over! We left Lincoln, Nebraska this morning with a plan of stopping in Fort Morgan, CO. Our original plan was to stay in Sterling, CO but we decided we could make it further. We stopped for gas and ended up eating lunch there too... corn dogs... not the healthiest of meals but it was quick and cheap. Then half way though we decided Lily had had enough and so we decided to drive as far as possible so she wouldn't have another long drive tomorrow. So we ended up in Lakewood, CO which is 12 miles from our new apartment. Nick's mom called ahead and got us a great deal on a kitty approved room.
