Well Wednesday really:
I worked 9-7 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...
7pm Wednesday - Tim Horton's run.... pick up Cheryl. Go home let Tyler in, then pack more and clean bathroom! Adam arrived late, but helped throw out the couch.
1:30 am - done packing decide to go to Steak and Shake.
3:00am - Bed Time.
Thursday:
7:45am - mom & dad call from Chatham, asking me for my Canadian Tim Horton's order... because its better than the USA.
8:05am - my alarm went off to wake up. I called ABF to check when our ReloCube's would be delivered. They said it would be there by 9:30.
We packed up the bed and wrapped the mattress and box springs.
9:10am - ABF arrives and drops of 2 Cubes.
9:45ish am - My parents arrive.
10:20 am - My dad throws his back out and I take him to the Chiropractor.
12pm - we arrive back home from the Chiropractor and Mom and Nick have packed almost everything! well probably 70-75%.
The rest of the afternoon: More packing, Adam and Cheryl arrived to help, Mom leaves with Lily to go to the hotel because Lily was starting to act weird. I left to go accept my job transfer and get the fancy check for our new apartment. We start the cleaning process.
6:30ish - Done almost everything, just have to empty the fridge in the morning. Tyler stops by to say goodbye. Take Cheryl home to get bathing suit, then go to hotel. Nick leaves with Adam and eats Chinese Food and watch a movie at Adams. The girls went to Panera Bread to pick up dinner. Then HOT TUB for our sore tired muscles!!
11:30ish - Adam drops off Nick and picks up Cheryl.
12:00pm - Bed time.
8:00am - Wake up to a couple inches of snow on the ground, and breakfast at the hotel, then off to the apartment to finish everything!
10:00am - We've said Goodbye and are on our way.
We saw 7 cars off the road due to snow.... we saw license plates from MI, IN, IL, ON, Alberta, Manitoba, California, Iowa, Maine..... We stopped for a windshield wiper, gas and 1 potty break. The Walkie Talkies my dad bought us are wonderful! Totally the way to go!! Lily did great, she meowed about 5-6 times every 45 minutes or so.... but made her self comfortable. I under-estimated the stench of kitty poop in a small enclosed space.
We are now in Rockford, IL at Chris and Katie's house. Ben lives here too so it's good to see friends. We are planning on staying here until Sunday.
6 hours down..... 14 to go.
