They decided to get married a month later so they can be all settled in before school started. Dana Austin became Dana Daykin on July 26th, 2008 in British Columbia. They chose to keep it a secret so when they got back to school all of their friends would be surprised. Welp, school has started so now I'm allowed to post pictures and announce that they are married!!!
I flew out the their wedding in BC - which is where he's from. They had the wedding ceremony in his sisters backyard which was next door to his parents house where the reception was at!
At the rehearsal - she was using the pitch fork to knock down the loose apples so they didn't fall during the reception.
Mom took this artsy one of her wedding shoes, pearls and some sparkling.
This is Dane sewing/fixing her dress before the wedding!!! I was giving her a massage to ease the stress.

The 3 Austin Girls (from Chatham) - well 1 is a Daykin now!!! - another soon to change names too!After the wedding in BC, they took their time on a honeymoon and setting up their apartment, then had a second reception in my backyard a month after the original wedding. Here are some pics from that:
The cake was delicious - with 3 cake layers mixed between a layer of blended fruit (minus MELON - since the groom is deathly allergic to it, and a chocolate mousse layer)
