HAIL!

ok but first Nick and I went on a walk the night before the Hail Storm, around a park that I had been to twice before, but he had not! We took this fun pictures on my cell phone so they're not great photo's, but they're great memories!

 These were actually pipes that were going to be underground where there was construction near the park, but how cool!?! The echo of the camera click was cool in here!

 We walked around the War Memorial Rose Garden.

and then we played on the swings!

 and then the sun set, but my phone camera just can't capture that like the gloriousness that it actually is!

 Ok so Hail!!!
I was slightly frustrated because Nick had told me we needed to leave and do the coffee bar shopping as quickly as possible so he could be back at the church for a 6pm meeting with Ryan. I called him on my way home to pick him up and he was playing a computer game that wasn't going to be done for 10 mins - which turned into almost 20. So we weren't going to make it... but we headed to the church stopped at the bank, and then we went to the church... where it starting Hailing like CRAZY! 

So had we left on time, we would have been at Cost-co when it was hailing to the south and we would have missed it!

this is really hard to see because of my reflection in the window,
but below us was the water pouring out of the eves troughs, can you see that?
It was really fast and like rapids!

 We obviously weren't in the worst of it, but that was only a 8 minute drive away, and that's where we were the other day when we went to the beach!
