This past weekend, I rode up to Frisco, CO a small Ski Town slightly north of Breckenridge, Co where 10 girls (and 1 baby) piled into a mansion to suffer for the Lord for the weekend!

Ok, not really! The home is owned by one of the board members of the seminary; it's worth over a million at least, and it's their vacation home! They actually live in Texas, but you can tell by the way this 8-bedroom-ish log cabin in the mountains is labeled, it is used for ministry! Every light switch was labeled as to what it turned on, each bedroom housed either king sized beds, or twins, or queens... very usable for retreats like what we were on!

This group of women consists of this past year and the next years PiM3 Leadership Team!!!

 We did the personality test where you figure out if you're a Lion, Beaver, Otter, or Golden Retriever. I am mostly Otter, Nick is Golden Retriever.

While on the retreat, we took turns answering what we believed we were good at, what people said we were good at, and what we enjoyed doing. We took turns telling our life story in 5-8 mins which of course turned into 20-40 minutes. We did the personality test, discussed the previous year and what we could do better, eliminate and add. We had a devotion/sermon Sunday morning on Romans 12 and the Race/Discipline. We talked about/planned the upcoming year. We hot tubbed it up! and we ATE a lot of food!

I woke up in the morning and my king size bed-mate was on the floor. The King bed was quite high up off the ground and hard to get into so I quietly asked "Are you on the floor on purpose?" She said yes.

It was a wonderful weekend of getting to know these Godly women who have a passion for guiding Seminary Wives in a way that helps them to be better partners in ministry with their husbands! The events we plan also help wives feel connected to the school their husbands are attending.
